Merry Christmas: The relationships that make it even more special

After three years Live Well Farm is on the map in terms of being a premier destination wedding spot on the coast of Maine. And while we do other things that give meaning to our name the mainstay of our venture is seeing couples give definition to their relationships.  Wedding parties come from all over the US, each event is unique, emotions run the gamut from relaxed to high drama, and the expectations are enormous.

The one thing they all have in common is the bond that begins to take shape between us and the bride and groom when they decide to give Live Well the honor of being a part of one of the most important days of their lives. This is not lost on us. In many cases our former clients have become our adopted family members.

We watched them deliberate, plan, and prepare for a year. They gather with family and friends, celebrate for the weekend at Live Well and then go home to begin the next chapter of their lives. The good news is that the story doesn’t end there for us.

Weddings provide a small business picture of what we do but the true value is in seeing that the next generation got its start with us, here at Live Well Farm. The real payoff comes when we get a call or a note after the event that tells us we’ve become part of their extended family. And what could possibly be better than when we get a call that something like this has become part of that 'next chapter' ....

(Disclaimer: the bride, groom and dog are not actors, and the 15 minute old baby? He’s our first grandson. Yeah, I know .. totally gratuitous, right?)

Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year to the Live Well Farm family.
